At FOCUS Cincinnati, we believe that every child deserves the tools to succeed. That’s why we’ve partnered with Norwood View Elementary to ensure students have access to essential school supplies, nutritious snacks, and resources to support their families.
Backpack Refreshes: Setting Students Up for Success
Through our Backpack Refresh initiative, we provide free backpacks and school supplies, allowing students to “shop” and take whatever they need—empowering them to start the school year with confidence. In addition to school essentials, we also offer healthy snacks and information on local meal programs and food pantries to ensure that no child goes hungry.
The Giving Tree: Spreading Joy to Norwood View Elementary Students
This past Christmas season, we were privileged to partner with Norwood View Elementary School to make the holidays a little brighter for its students. Through the generosity of Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Church, Christ the Savior-Holy Spirit Church, St. James Antiochian Church, and countless Norwood community members, each student received a special Christmas gift.
To add to the festive spirit, Santa himself made an appearance! Each child had the opportunity to share their holiday wishes, sit with Santa, and receive their thoughtfully chosen gift. The joy and excitement on their faces reminded us of the power of community and kindness.
